Mold number 4W is one of the low numbers in Ronco Plastics' fresh-water book, and low numbers mean longevity: this 60-gallon shape has been earning its keep since the era when Ronco - rotomolding in Tustin, California since 1974 - was first proving that one-piece polyethylene belonged under RVs. The RV4W is also the most substantial of the 60-gallon molds at 84 lb of shell.
The spec has never needed changing: light-duty FDA-compliant natural polyethylene, translucent so the level shows through, no seams anywhere. Sixty gallons full means about 500 lb of water riding on your frame, so cradle and strap it like the structural load it is.
Its exact geometry is on the drawing below - print the drawing below, check it against your bay, and mark your fitting locations, because every RV4W gets spin-weld or threaded fittings installed to the customer's marks before it ships. If this veteran shape is not your shape, the 60-gallon RV25W and the 60-gallon RV54W at 36 x 30 x 14.25 inches hold the same water differently. Full range: RV water tanks; shipping: freight cost estimator.
