Twenty-four pounds. Most 60-gallon tanks take two people and some swearing to get into a basement bay; the RV54W is a 24 lb molding one installer can carry under an arm, thanks to a broad, thin-walled slab design measuring 36 x 30 x 14.25 inches. Light duty in the truest sense - light to handle, rated for fresh water.
Do not let the empty weight fool you about the full one: 60 gallons is roughly 500 lb once the pump stops, spread across that generous 36 x 30 base. The material is FDA-compliant natural polyethylene with the translucent wall that makes checking your supply a glance instead of a gauge reading, molded seamless in one piece.
The heavier-shelled alternatives at this capacity are the 60-gallon RV4W and the 60-gallon RV15W; the complete size ladder is under RV water tanks in the Ronco Plastics line.

Standard fitting package
Choose the standard fitting package for $30 and we install these three fittings before the tank ships:
| Fitting | Size | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Inlet | 1-1/4" female NPT | Top center |
| Outlet | 1/2" female NPT | Bottom center |
| Vent | 1/2" female NPT | Top corner |
Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit ($55.75). It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.
Technical drawing: download the Ronco Plastics RV54W dimensional drawing - print it to plan your install. Choose the standard fitting package (shown in the fitting layout image), or order the tank blank and place your own fittings.
