Ronco Plastics RV8W - 52 Gallon Light Duty RV Fresh Water Tank (60.25" x 20.125" x 11.0")

Five feet of tank, eleven inches of height: the RV8W stretches its 52 gallons across 60.25 x 20.12 x 11 inches, the longest, shallowest profile in its capacity class. It is drawn for the space nothing else uses - the thin horizontal band between floor and frame that runs the length of a coach. Ronco's own sheet rates the mold conservatively at 50 gallons, so the listed capacity is not wishful.

Light-duty potable spec throughout: natural polyethylene, translucent enough to read the water line through the wall, molded seamless in one piece. The 76 lb shell carries about 434 lb when full, distributed along its whole length - about as kind as half a ton of water can be to a chassis.

If long-and-low is not the constraint, the 53-gallon RV68W holds one more gallon in a different form, and the 48-gallon RV9W at 48 x 20 x 12 inches shortens the idea. The rest live under RV water tanks.

Standard fitting package

Choose the standard fitting package in the fittings option at the top of this page and we install these three fittings before the tank ships:

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit. It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.

Technical drawing: download the Ronco Plastics RV8W dimensional drawing - print it to plan your install. Choose the standard fitting package (shown in the fitting layout image), or order the tank blank and place your own fittings.
