A carry-in tank that keeps the light out

Two people can lift a 45 lb tank, and a 29 inch body rolls through many interior doorways on a hand truck. That makes this tank easy to place by hand in a basement, a pump room, a greenhouse or a job trailer, with no forklift. Check the clear width of the door first. At 51 inches tall the top is about chest height, close enough to fill from a hose and to see inside without a step.

Black polyethylene blocks light. In stored water that stops most algae growth, and for liquids that degrade in sunlight it protects the contents, which is why black is the usual pick for a tank outdoors or under glass.
