Will it hold your contents?

The 30-degree cone floor drains solids and slurries that a flat-bottom vertical tank would leave behind, which is why cone-bottoms are the standard choice for dosing and settle-and-decant work. This is where the 1.9 rating earns its keep: several of those - sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, ferric chloride, and hypochlorite - require the full 1.9 tank, and a standard 1.5-rated cone unit is not approved to hold them.
