Ronco Plastics RV53W - 38 Gallon Plastic RV Water Tank (70.0" x 16.0" x 8.0")

Seventy inches long, 16 wide, 8 tall. The RV53W is essentially a fresh water girder - 38 gallons stretched into a profile that slides between floor joists or along a single frame rail where no conventional tank has a chance. Only a handful of moldings anywhere combine this much capacity with an 8-inch height.

It carries Ronco's L.D. potable spec: natural FDA-compliant polyethylene, translucent wall so the water level shows through. The shell is a substantial 81 lb molding - a lot of resin for the size, which is what a 70-inch unsupported span demands - and the water adds roughly 317 lb at 8.34 lb per gallon. Support the tank continuously along its length; a full 38 gallons should never bridge across two straps.

Nothing else in the line matches this profile exactly, but the neighbors are worth knowing: the 36-gallon RV6W at 48.38 x 14.38 x 13.25 inches is shorter and taller, the 40-gallon RV17W at 40.5 x 24 x 10 inches is wider and squarer, and the whole family is at RV water tanks.
