The RV6W is the long way to carry 36 gallons of fresh water: 48.38 inches of length against a slim 14.38 inch width, standing 13.25 inches tall. That proportion is made for chase-frame gaps - alongside a driveshaft tunnel, between a frame rail and a holding tank, down the spine of a trailer where nothing squarish will go.
It is a light-duty potable molding in natural FDA-compliant polyethylene, translucent enough to read water level through the wall. Ronco's own sheet carries it as the 6W L.D., one of the original numbered molds from a library that has been growing in Tustin, California since 1974.
The full-water number to respect is 300 lb (36 gallons at 8.34 lb per gallon) distributed along that narrow footprint, so support it along its length rather than at the ends. If your cavity is squarer, the RV7W holds the same 36 gallons at 30 x 22 x 14 inches; in between sits the RV38W at 45 x 18.5 x 11.25 inches, and longer still the 38-gallon RV53W at 70 x 16 x 8 inches. Full range at RV water tanks. Fittings are installed per order - print the drawing below, mark your fitting locations, and they arrive spin-welded or threaded in place.
