At 40.5 x 24 inches of footprint it lies flat under a bed platform or floor section, keeping roughly 334 lb of full-tank weight (8.34 lb per gallon) as low in the vehicle as water can ride. Low and centered is exactly where you want a third of a ton of ballast.
Ronco's sheet lists it as the 17W L.D.: light-duty potable duty, natural FDA-compliant polyethylene, translucent so the level reads through the wall. The molding ships at a stout 70 lb - generous material for a tank whose broad flat panels carry the load.
Its capacity twin, the RV10W, takes a different outline (drawing on its page); nearby are the 36-gallon RV38W at 45 x 18.5 x 11.25 inches and the 45-gallon RV47W at 36 x 23 x 13 inches when the bay allows more height. The whole fresh side lives at RV water tanks.
