Light-duty potable spec means natural FDA-compliant polyethylene with a translucent wall: shine a light and read your remaining water straight through the side.
It is a heavily built shell for the class, shipping at 75 lb, and the load it manages is serious: 40 gallons at 8.34 lb per gallon is roughly 334 lb riding on your floor structure. Plan the mounting around the full number, never the empty one.

Fittings
This tank has a molded shape (see the drawing), so it is sold as a blank tank with no fittings installed. Add the Ronco 3-inch uniseal (F3UNISEAL), a loose pipe-to-tank seal you install yourself, if you need a sealed pipe connection.
