Single-digit mold numbers are the old guard of Ronco's library, and the 5W is one of them - a 45-gallon fresh water shape that has been earning its tooling space in Tustin, California across five decades of coach builds since 1974. Molds this old survive on one merit: installers keep finding cavities they fit.
Listed as the 5W L.D., it is molded in the fresh line's natural FDA-compliant polyethylene with a translucent wall - watch your water level through the side instead of trusting a sender. The shell is a stout 78 lb, second-heaviest on the 45-gallon bench, and the load is the usual arithmetic: 45 gallons at 8.34 lb per gallon puts roughly 375 lb of water on your mounts.
The outline lives on the drawing below - print it, offer it to your compartment, and mark your fill, vent, outlet, and sender positions on the sheet for per-order installation, spin-welded or threaded at the marks.
