Where most small fresh tanks go tall, the RV21W goes flat: 8 gallons spread across 17.75 x 15.75 inches while standing only 8.25 inches high. That squat, nearly square footprint is built for under-bench and under-bunk mounting, where every inch of height is an inch stolen from storage.
This is potable-water light duty - FDA-compliant natural polyethylene with a translucent wall, so the water level shows through the shell. The 8 lb tank carries about 67 lb when brimmed, and the low profile keeps that mass close to the floor where it belongs in a moving vehicle.
Compare it against the 8-gallon RV41W at 17 x 12.75 x 10 inches, the taller twin at the same capacity, or step to the 9-gallon RV31W if you can use a touch more volume.

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit ($55.75). It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.
