The material story is the standard Ronco fresh-water spec: FDA-compliant natural polyethylene, light duty, translucent so the water level reads through the wall. Nine gallons full is about 75 lb, an easy load for a properly fastened shelf or cradle in a van or small trailer.
Ronco Plastics has rotomolded in Tustin, California since 1974 and installs fittings per order, spin-weld or threaded, wherever your marks say.
