On Ronco's own price sheet this mold is the 56W, stamped at a conservative 7 gallons; we catalog it at the 9 gallons it actually holds. Either way the geometry is the selling point: 20.5 x 12.75 x 8 inches, an 8 lb loaf-shaped molding low enough to hide under a dinette seat or in the dead space above a wheel well.
It is light-duty potable spec - FDA-compliant natural polyethylene with the translucent wall that turns the tank into its own sight gauge. Full, count on roughly 75 lb of water, which is why the flat bottom and low height matter: the mass sits low and spreads wide.
Every RV56W is rotomolded in Tustin, California, where Ronco Plastics has been building tanks since 1974, and fittings are installed at the plant to your order - spin-weld or threaded. Print the drawing below and mark your fitting locations so supply, vent, and fill land exactly where your plumbing wants them. Also worth a look: the 9-gallon RV31W in a different form factor and the 8-gallon RV21W at 17.75 x 15.75 x 8.25 inches; the rest are under RV water tanks.
