Boat Tanks

Filled to the top, the B548 weighs almost exactly 100 lb - 12 gallons of water in a 24 x 13.5 x 10 inch molding that ships at just 17 lb. That round number is a useful design fact: it is the weight...

The B103 does not know whether it is a water tank or a holding tank, and that is the point. This 20-gallon marine molding is one of Ronco's dual-role blanks: specify fresh-water fittings and it is a...

Refit season always finds the water tank last - buried under a berth, shaped like nothing in any catalog. The B108 is one of the shapes Ronco molds for exactly those recesses: an 18-gallon marine...

81 lb empty for 16 gallons. Read that again - the B111 blank outweighs the entire full load of some small tanks before a drop of water goes in. This is the heaviest-built 16-gallon marine molding...

Some tanks are containers; the B129 is closer to a casting. Eighteen gallons of marine water capacity in a 79 lb blank - more than four pounds of polyethylene per gallon of capacity, the heaviest...

Every hull has one awkward volume that the standard tank catalog cannot touch, and Ronco's habit since 1974 has been to cut a mold for it anyway. The Ronco Plastics B172 - 23 gallons, shipping at 26...

Small boats deserve real tanks too. The B199 puts 12 gallons of fresh water capacity into a rotomolded shell that ships at just 20 lb - a size drawn for day sailors, center consoles, and pocket...

The B213 is the shape most people picture when they picture a tank: a clean 28 x 16 x 12.25 inch rectangle, 20 gallons, no exotic proportions. That ordinariness is its virtue. It fits benches,...

Sixteen gallons, 27 lb on the shipping scale. The B215 is the kind of tank you buy for a boat where every installation is done lying on your side with one arm through an access hole - light enough to...

Seventeen gallons is an honest number for a trailerable cruiser: enough fresh water for a weekend aboard without giving up a locker you actually use. The Ronco Plastics B462 puts 17 gallons into a...
