Requires a reinforced concrete pad designed for the full loaded weight, with at least 6 inches of compacted gravel sub-base. Install on a level, compacted surface. Factory-installed fittings include a 1" outlet and a 3" inlet, both with NPT threading for direct connection to standard schedule 40 or schedule 80 PVC, polypropylene, or stainless steel plumbing. The 16" lid opening provides ample access for interior inspection, cleaning, and installation of float switches, level sensors, or submersible pumps. Use schedule 80 PVC or stainless steel bulkhead fittings on the 1" NPT connections. Install a full-port ball valve and consider a Y-strainer to protect downstream equipment.
