The black resin and cone-bottom geometry let you empty thick, settling, or particulate-laden chemistries completely instead of leaving a heel in a flat-bottom tank. The mistake to avoid

The most common error on a tank like this is under-rating density or mismatching fittings. The 1.9 SG rating is what makes 98% sulfuric acid or 50% ferric chloride viable - drop to a 1.0 or 1.5 SG tank to save money and the wall is no longer engineered for that weight. Just as important, the fitting and gasket material has to match the chemistry: Viton gaskets for the strong oxidizers and acids (sulfuric, phosphoric, peroxide, hypochlorite), EPDM for the salts and glycols, and 316SS or CPVC where called out. A PVC fitting on a chemistry that needs Viton or CPVC is the failure point, not the tank.
