The Enduraplas 2500 Gallon White Cone Bottom Tank with Stand (SKU THC02500KW) is a full-drain vessel built for batching, dosing, and chemical storage where you need the tank to empty completely. The cone-bottom geometry sits on an integrated poly stand, giving you 2,500 gallons of usable volume on a 90-inch-diameter footprint at an overall height of 130 inches. The tank is molded from polyethylene in natural white, carries a 1.9 specific gravity rating, and weighs 838 pounds empty. It ships fitted with a 3" PP female NPT bulkhead fitting at the outlet and a 16" threaded vented manway up top, and it is FDA approved. For full geometry and fitting placement, see the technical drawing on this page.

Will it hold your contents

The 1.9 SG rating is the number that matters: it means the tank wall and stand are engineered to carry contents up to 1.9 times the weight of water. Filled with water this tank holds roughly 20,850 pounds; at its maximum rated content density it is built to carry about 39,615 pounds. Size your fill and your pad accordingly. Because this is a cone-bottom design on a stand, plan your discharge plumbing and any pump or valve off the 3" bulkhead before delivery, and confirm the 16" vented manway matches your fill and venting needs. If you are still comparing capacity or stand type, the Tank Sizing Calculator and Tank Sizing Guide walk through the math, and our 2500 Gallon Cone Bottom Tank with Poly Stand Buyer's Guide covers this configuration. For steel-versus-poly stand tradeoffs, see the stand selection decision tree and the Norwesco, Snyder, and Enduraplas stand compatibility matrix.

Chemical compatibility

This is a polyethylene tank rated at 1.9 specific gravity, referenced against the Snyder Industries OEM chemical resistance chart. Before you commit it to any aggressive media, confirm one thing with us first: the resin is recorded as HDLPE with a question mark, so verify HDLPE versus XLPE before ordering for chemicals like sulfuric acid 98%, hydrochloric acid 37%, or sodium hypochlorite, since crosslinked and high-density linear resins behave differently. Every call below is concentration- and temperature-specific, so confirm your exact chemical, concentration, temperature, and both fitting and gasket material before you buy. This 1.9 SG rating is the highest offered in this configuration; there is no heavier-duty step-up for denser media.

At 1.9 SG, the OEM chart supports storage of hydrochloric acid (37%, PVC fittings, Viton gaskets), sulfuric acid (98%, CPVC, Viton), sodium hypochlorite (under 16.5%, PVC, Viton), ferric chloride (50%, PVC, EPDM), ferric sulfate (60%, PVC, EPDM), phosphoric acid (85%, PVC, Viton), hydrogen peroxide (50%, PVC, Viton), hydrofluoric acid (48%, PP or PVC, Viton), hydrofluosilicic acid (26%, PP or PVC, Viton), ethylene glycol (100%, PVC, EPDM), potassium carbonate (50%, PVC, EPDM), potassium hydroxide (saturated, PVC, EPDM), sodium bisulfate (PVC or PP, EPDM), sodium bisulfite (PVC or PP, EPDM), sodium thiosulfate (40%, PVC, EPDM), propylene glycol (PP or 316SS, EPDM), zinc orthophosphate (PP or 316SS, EPDM), polyaluminum chloride (PVC, EPDM), and ozonated water (up to 10 PPM, PVC, EPDM). Peracetic acid (30%) is a special case: it needs 316SS fittings and an Aflas gasket, a non-stock elastomer, so do not default to EPDM or Viton on that one. Several lower-SG-rated chemicals also sit within this tank's rating but call for different hardware: DEF (32.5%) takes 316SS fittings with EPDM, urea solution (50%) PP or PVC with EPDM, acetic acid (60%) PP or PVC with EPDM, aluminum sulfate (50%) PVC with EPDM, calcium chloride (40%) PVC with EPDM, magnesium chloride (30%) PVC with EPDM, sodium carbonate (30%) PVC with EPDM, and ferrous sulfate (20%) PVC with EPDM. Match your fitting and gasket to the chemical, and check each one against our Chemical Compatibility Database before service.
