Lighter chemistries such as DEF (32.5%, 316SS or PP fittings), Urea Solution (50%, PP/PVC), Acetic Acid (60%), Calcium Chloride (40%), and Sodium Carbonate (30%) only need a 1.5 SG tank or lower, so this 1.9 tank covers them with margin - but note DEF and urea require 316SS or PP wetted parts per the chart, not brass or standard steel. The mistake to avoid
Do not order this tank against an SG you have not verified, and do not assume the stock outlet is the right wetted part. The supplied outlet is a 3-inch PP female NPT bulkhead - verify the OEM chart's fitting and gasket call-out against that stock PP bulkhead and re-fit if your chemistry needs PVC, CPVC, or 316SS, or a Viton or Aflas seal. And know the ceiling: 1.9 is the maximum poly SG rating, so there is no denser-rated poly tank to step up to - if your service gravity exceeds 1.9, poly is not the material.
