Watch the hardware, because it is where these builds go wrong. This tank ships with a 3" PP female NPT bulkhead, but the bulkhead gasket elastomer must be matched to your chemical per the chart — Viton for the oxidizers (HCl, sodium hypochlorite, sulfuric, peroxide, and the HF group), EPDM for most salts and glycols, and Aflas for Peracetic Acid. Two chemicals also demand stainless rather than plastic fittings: DEF (32.5%) calls for 316SS fittings with EPDM gaskets, and Peracetic Acid calls for 316SS with Aflas — do not fit either with PVC.
