An open top batch tank is for work somebody has to see into: blending, dissolving, settling, holding a batch between process steps. The open top is the point, and it brings two site questions with it. The first is the roof. At 125 inches tall you need working room above the rim for a mixer, a hose or a platform, so this is a tank for a high bay or an outdoor pad, not a standard ceiling. The second is the floor. What to check before you buy

1. No fittings are listed. There is no outlet, no drain and no lid on this tank as listed. Decide where the draw-off goes, how the tank empties for cleaning and whether a cover is needed, and tell us when you order; we will confirm what Snyder supplies and what gets added.
2. Freeboard. Mixing raises the liquid level and an open top has no overflow fitting; leave working space below the rim.
3. Rating. 1.9 specific gravity and 120 F. Exothermic blends can run past 120 F even when the room does not; check the batch temperature, not the weather.
