The Enduraplas 6011 Gallon White Cone Bottom Tank with Stand (SKU THC06011KW) is built for full-drain batching and chemical storage where the vessel needs to empty completely and the contents stay off the ground on an integrated stand. Molded in Natural White polyethylene at a 1.9 specific gravity rating, this sits at the heaviest cone-bottom rating offered, and its FDA-approved resin makes it a candidate across a wide span of process fluids. The 3" PP female NPT bulkhead sits at the cone tip — the low point — so a batch drains completely by gravity, the reason a cone bottom beats a flat-bottom tank for mixing and full recovery. A 16" threaded vented manway up top handles filling, inspection, and mixing access.

Will it work for your process

The tank stands 134" tall on its stand with a 144" diameter footprint, and the empty shell weighs about 1,300 lb. Sizing is where a cone-bottom tank earns its keep: filled with water this vessel carries roughly 50,132 lb, and the 1.9 SG rating allows a maximum rated contents weight near 95,250 lb — nearly twice the water weight. Your pad and stand have to carry that full 95,250 lb figure, not the water number, so confirm your loaded weight against your product's specific gravity before you pour concrete; a fluid heavier than water eats into headroom fast. Use the Tank Sizing Calculator and the Tank Sizing Guide to check contents weight, and review our decision trees on steel frame vs. polyethylene stand selection and the Norwesco, Snyder, and Enduraplas stand compatibility matrix when specifying the base. See the technical drawing on this page for the full dimensional layout.

Chemical compatibility

This is an HDLPE-rated polyethylene shell at a 1.9 SG rating, but the resin code carries a "?" — confirm HDLPE vs. XLPE with us before chemical service, since crosslinked and linear polyethylene behave differently with some oxidizers and solvents. At 1.9 SG this is the top-rated cone-bottom shell offered, so there is no heavier-density upgrade to step up to; the full-density services on the chart are already covered. Ratings below come from the Snyder Industries OEM chemical resistance chart and are concentration- and temperature-specific — verify your exact chemical, concentration, temperature, and fitting plus gasket materials before ordering. The heavier-fluid, full-SG services include Sulfuric Acid at 98% (CPVC fittings, Viton gaskets), Hydrochloric Acid at 37% (PVC, Viton), Phosphoric Acid at 85% (PVC, Viton), Hydrogen Peroxide at 50% (PVC, Viton), Ferric Chloride at 50% (PVC, EPDM), Ethylene Glycol (PVC, EPDM), and Peracetic Acid at 30% (316SS fittings, Aflas gaskets). Sodium Hypochlorite is rated only below 16.5% concentration — a hard ceiling worth noting, since bleach lines running 12.5% assume higher is fine (PVC, Viton). Lighter-density chemicals within rating include DEF at 32.5% (1.35 SG minimum, 316SS fittings, EPDM gaskets) and Urea Solution at 50% (1.35 SG minimum, PP/PVC fittings, EPDM gaskets) — note DEF calls for 316SS while urea allows PP/PVC, so don't cross them — plus Acetic Acid at 60%, Calcium Chloride at 40%, and Sodium Carbonate at 30%. The chart specifies a gasket material per chemical — matching Viton, EPDM, or Aflas to the fluid is where most failures start. Browse the full Chemical Compatibility Database to confirm your service.

The mistake to avoid

Don't order fittings by habit. This tank ships with a PP bulkhead outlet, but the chart above calls for different wetted materials by chemical — CPVC for sulfuric, 316SS for peracetic acid and DEF, Viton gaskets for the oxidizers. Pairing an EPDM gasket with an oxidizer, or a standard PVC fitting where the chart specifies CPVC or stainless, will fail long before the tank does. Lock the fitting and gasket to your specific fluid first.
