Where this tank goes
This is a tall tank on a small footprint. At 102 inches across it takes the same floor space as the next size down in the same line and adds the capacity in height, which is the right trade when the pad is tight and the ceiling is not. At 195 inches tall, plus the stand under it, it is an outdoor tank or a high-bay tank; measure before you order. The 15 degree cone suits liquids that drain cleanly on their own, such as water, liquid fertilizer and solutions without heavy settling solids. If your product drops a sludge, a 30 degree cone slides it out better. What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer and the treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles. Openings, fittings and the stand
- Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the point of the cone. Thread the valve in before the tank is set, and support the pipe run on its own so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top. On a tank this tall, plan the fill line and the level gauge so nobody has to climb to the manway for a routine fill.
