Ronco Plastics RV42W - 58 Gallon Light Duty RV Fresh Water Tank (46.75" x 20.75" x 15.5")

46.75 x 20.75 x 15.5 inches - the RV42W's dimensions read like they were taken off a real chassis, because they were. Ronco Plastics molds five different 58-gallon fresh tanks, each shaped to a different frame bay, and this is the mid-length member: shorter than the long-and-low molds, taller than the flat ones, a 75 lb light-duty shell.

Within the 58-gallon family the choice is pure geometry: the 58-gallon RV43W at 58 x 20 x 13 inches runs longer and lower, the 58-gallon RV60W at 44 x 22 x 15.5 inches is the near-twin a touch shorter, and the 58-gallon RV63W at 42 x 23 x 15.5 inches is the most compact. All carry the same water: about 484 lb when full.

Spec is Ronco's standard potable package - natural polyethylene, translucent for visual level reading, rotomolded in one piece in Tustin, California, as the company has done since 1974. The broader range is under RV water tanks.

Standard fitting package

Choose the standard fitting package in the fittings option at the top of this page and we install these three fittings before the tank ships:

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit. It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.

Technical drawing: download the Ronco Plastics RV42W dimensional drawing - print it to plan your install. Choose the standard fitting package (shown in the fitting layout image), or order the tank blank and place your own fittings.
