A 58-gallon tank that is also 58 inches long - the RV43W is easy to remember and easy to place: 58 x 20 x 13 inches, drawn long and low to run along a frame rail where taller tanks cannot go. Thirteen inches of height clears most underfloor cavities with room for the fill and vent plumbing above.
Ronco Plastics molds it in light-duty natural polyethylene, translucent so you can watch the level fall as the trip goes on. It is a 79 lb shell carrying about 484 lb of water when brimmed - a long, low, well-distributed load, which is the best kind to carry under a moving coach.

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit. It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.
