A perfect square, 34 x 34 inches, standing 13 low: the RV44W holds its 58 gallons in the footprint of a card table, which makes it the natural pick for basement bays and between-the-rails cavities that are wide rather than long. Just as striking is the shell weight - at 25 lb this is one of the lightest moldings in its capacity class, easy for one installer to maneuver into place.

It is Ronco Plastics' standard fresh-water build: light-duty natural polyethylene, translucent wall doubling as a sight gauge, one-piece rotomolded so there are no seams to fatigue. Once filled, plan for roughly 484 lb of water spread evenly across that square base.

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit. It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.
