Ronco's price sheet actually stamps this mold at 58 gallons; we catalog the RV48W at a working 55. Under-promising is a good habit in a water tank, and the dimensions are honest either way: 40 x 24 x 14 inches, a compact rectangle that packs serious capacity into a modest footprint at a 72 lb shell weight.

The build is Ronco Plastics' potable standard - light-duty natural polyethylene, translucent enough to read the water level through the wall - rotomolded in one seamless piece at the Tustin, California plant that has produced tanks since 1974. Filled to its listed 55 gallons, you are carrying about 459 lb.

If the footprint fights your bay, the same capacity comes as the 55-gallon RV28W, the 55-gallon RV32W, or the 55-gallon RV59W - all under RV water tanks.

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit. It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.
