The RV59W - a 55-gallon light-duty fresh tank, 74 lb molded - ships with its fittings already installed to your layout: click them into place on the planner or print the drawing below and mark your fitting locations by hand, and Ronco Plastics spin-welds or threads them in at those exact spots before the tank leaves the plant. The tank you unbox is the tank your plumbing expects.
The shell is FDA-compliant natural polyethylene in Ronco's light-duty potable spec, translucent so the water level shows without instruments, molded in one piece with no seams - the construction Ronco has refined in Tustin, California since 1974.
Fifty-five gallons weighs about 459 lb full, and it is a capacity Ronco molds in several shapes: the 55-gallon RV48W at 40 x 24 x 14 inches publishes its footprint, while the 55-gallon RV28W and the 55-gallon RV32W carry theirs on their drawings. All of them live under RV water tanks.
