What goes in it

Dark storage for a liquid that polyethylene handles at room temperature, which is most liquids most of the time: fertilizer and nutrient solution, wash water and makeup, and a low, dark holding stage for reclaimed water. Check any chemical in the chemical compatibility guide before you order; a duty that asks for a crosslinked wall belongs in the crosslinked version of this shell.

Openings and fittings

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at the top of a 50 inch shell, opened and closed standing on the pad with both hands and a clear view of the thread. Nobody books a platform for this tank. An easy opening is a habit problem, so keep the cover threaded shut between fills and make every opening a real inspection with a light on the band of wall above the liquid line.
2. Outlet. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off you need when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base and in what material before anything is drilled. Whatever is plumbed there sits on its own support with a flexible connector to hard pipe.
