Where it goes

Some sites have no vertical room at all, and this is the tank for them: a chemical feed station under a mezzanine, a well house where the ceiling is the slab above, a wash bay makeup tank beside the equipment, a greenhouse feed tank under the bench, or a skid and trailer build where anything taller would not ride. The 47 inch circle still drops inside a four foot containment curb, so the low shape and the small footprint come together rather than trading against each other. Crosslinked polyethylene is the wall for chemistry duty and warm liquids, which is why this tank is listed to 140 F. Buy it when the liquid runs warm, you want to see through the wall, and the ceiling is the binding constraint. Openings and fittings

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at about chest height. A cleaning wand reaches every part of the floor from the rim and the interior can be inspected with a light without anyone leaving the ground. The risk on a low tank is familiarity: keep the cover threaded shut between fills and make every opening a real inspection.
2. Outlet. Name the liquid, its working temperature and the draw-off you need when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base and in what material before anything is cut. Whatever is plumbed there sits on its own support with a flexible connector to hard pipe.
