Ronco Plastics RV7W - 36 Gallon Plastic RV Water Tank (30.0" x 22.0" x 14.0")

A 30 x 22 inch footprint at 14 inches tall makes the RV7W the squarest of Ronco's mid-thirties fresh water tanks - the shape you want under a dinette seat or in a boxy compartment where a long skinny tank would waste half the space. Capacity is 36 gallons, which at 8.34 lb per gallon means about 300 lb of water when topped off, on a shell that itself weighs only 19 lb.

This is Ronco's 7W L.D. molding: light-duty potable, natural FDA-compliant polyethylene, translucent wall for at-a-glance level checks. It has been in the Tustin, California mold library since the early years of an operation running since 1974 - these numbered molds survive because installers keep coming back for the same odd cavities.

Same capacity, different proportions: the RV6W stretches 36 gallons out to 48.38 x 14.38 x 13.25 inches for narrow chases, and the RV38W splits the difference at 45 x 18.5 x 11.25 inches.
