The Enduraplas 900 Gallon Plastic Vertical Water Storage Tank in black is a straight-wall polyethylene tank built for above-ground bulk water storage. It holds 900 gallons on a 72-inch square footprint, so it stores real volume without the reach of a tall, narrow vertical tank. The black exterior blocks light to slow algae growth in standing water. This is a vertical water storage tank sized for non-potable duty: well water, rainwater collection, irrigation supply, and fire-reserve service.

Will it work for your site?

The footprint is 72 x 72 inches (six feet square), so plan a pad at least that size plus working clearance around it. Filled to capacity, this tank carries roughly 7,506 pounds of water, and that load is what your foundation has to hold. That weight is exactly why the base matters: a flat, fully-supporting pad under the entire tank floor is not optional at this size. Our concrete pad sizing guide walks through the ACI framework for above-ground poly tanks, and the Tank Sizing Calculator and Tank Sizing Guide help confirm 900 gallons is the right volume before you buy. Check the technical drawing on this page for the fitting and dimensional layout on this specific tank.

Fire reserve and water reuse duty

At 900 gallons on a compact square footprint, this tank fits rural and remote sites where stored water backs up a private fire-protection stack. If that is your use, our guide on fire-water reservoir design covers NFPA 22 sizing discipline and freeze protection for cold-climate service. For grey-water, rainwater, and HVAC condensate aggregation, the water reuse topology guide shows where a tank this size lands in a quality-banded storage train.

The mistake to avoid

Fill it once before you trust it. New-install acceptance means a hydrostatic test: fill with water, monitor the pad for settlement, and watch every fitting for leaks over a measured hold time. Our hydrostatic test guide lays out the fill discipline and the hold-time math. Skipping it is how a settling pad or a loose fitting turns into a 7,500-pound problem after the tank is already in service.

This tank ships LTL freight, quoted live to your ZIP code. Get your number from the Freight Cost Estimator or call us at 866-418-1777 and we will size the tank, confirm the fittings, and quote freight to your delivery point.
