At full capacity with a 1.0 SG liquid, expect approximately 1,088 pounds on the foundation. Set on a flat, level pad of compacted gravel or a concrete slab at least 4 inches thick. Place on a firm, level surface free of rocks or sharp objects that could damage the tank bottom. Ensure adequate ventilation if stored chemicals produce vapors.
Factory-installed fittings include a 1.5" outlet and a 1" inlet, both with NPT threading for direct connection to standard schedule 40 or schedule 80 PVC, polypropylene, or stainless steel plumbing. The 8" lid accommodates fill lines, vent connections, and basic interior access for inspection. We recommend schedule 80 PVC or polypropylene fittings on the 1.5" NPT outlet with a ball valve for positive shutoff.
