The Enduraplas 1400 Gallon Yellow Horizontal Sump Bottom Leg Tank is a polyethylene horizontal leg tank built for haul-and-apply duty, rated to a 1.9 specific gravity so it carries heavy ag fertilizers and dense chemistries that would overstress a standard 1.0-rated tank. It measures 102 inches long by 70 inches wide by 71 inches tall, rides on an integrated frame, and drains through a sump bottom that lets you pull product down to the last usable gallons. It is a natural fit for DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) haul-and-dispense and similar yellow ag and fleet duty.

The mistake to avoid

The costly error on a 1.9-SG tank is plumbing it with the wrong material. Sodium hypochlorite, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, the hydrofluoric family, and hydrogen peroxide all require Viton (peracetic acid needs Aflas) - run EPDM on those and the gasket fails; likewise DEF and peracetic acid need 316SS and 98% sulfuric needs CPVC, so don't default everything to PVC. Just as important, do not size your hauling rig off the water weight: a horizontal leg tank loaded with dense product can reach 22,184 lb, and overloading the frame or trailer is the failure that ends a season.
