The Enduraplas 6011 Gallon Green Cone Bottom Tank with Stand (SKU THC06011KG) is a full-drain polyethylene tank built for process and chemical storage where the vessel needs to empty completely. It holds 6,011 gallons, stands 134 inches tall on a 144-inch diameter footprint, and carries a 1.9 specific gravity rating with FDA-approved polyethylene construction. Product drains through a 3" PP female NPT bulkhead fitting at the cone tip and is accessed through a 16" threaded vented manway up top. Empty tank weight is 1,300 lb.
Will it work for your process?
The cone-bottom geometry drains to the outlet with no low-point residue, which is why this style is chosen for batching, blending, and any liquid that settles or needs full recovery. The 1.9 specific gravity rating is the spec that gates everything: the tank wall and stand are engineered to carry contents up to 1.9 times the density of water. At full water the contents alone weigh 50,132 lb, and the tank is rated to carry up to 95,250 lb of contents at its maximum specific gravity. Confirm your fluid's density is at or under 1.9 SG before you order — that single check prevents the most common cone-bottom mistake. The stand carries the full load, so your pad must be sized for the max-rated 95,250 lb of contents plus the 1,300 lb tank plus the stand, spread across the 144" diameter footprint and concentrated at the leg points. Hand that combined figure to your civil or foundation contractor. Use the Tank Sizing Calculator and the Tank Sizing Guide to confirm volume and stand loading for your site.
Chemical compatibility
This is a 1.9 SG-rated polyethylene vessel. The resin is recorded as HDLPE but flagged for verification — confirm HDLPE vs XLPE with us before committing to chemical service, because crosslinked and linear polyethylene do not resist every chemical the same way. Compatibility below comes from the Snyder Industries OEM chemical resistance chart and is concentration- and temperature-specific; confirm your exact chemical, concentration, temperature, and the fitting and gasket materials before ordering.
Read the outlet spec carefully. The tank ships with one 3" PP (polypropylene) bulkhead and the vented manway — no chemical-rated gaskets or upgraded fittings are included. PP suits neutral and PP-rated service only. Several chemicals below require a different outlet and gasket that you source separately: Sulfuric Acid (98%) needs a CPVC fitting with Viton; Hydrochloric Acid (37%), Hydrogen Peroxide (50%), Phosphoric Acid (85%), and Sodium Hypochlorite (under 16.5%) need PVC with Viton; DEF (32.5%, only a 1.35 SG tank is needed so this one is over-built) and Peracetic Acid (30%) need 316SS — and Peracetic Acid is the one chemical here that calls for an Aflas gasket, not Viton or EPDM, so a generic Viton kit will mis-order.
Also supported at their charted materials: Ethylene Glycol (100%, PVC/EPDM), Ferric Chloride (50%, PVC/EPDM), Ferric Sulfate (60%, PVC/EPDM), Hydrofluoric Acid (48%, PP/PVC, Viton), Hydrofluosilicic Acid (26%, PP/PVC, Viton), Polyaluminum Chloride (PVC/EPDM), Potassium Carbonate (50%, PVC/EPDM), Potassium Hydroxide (saturated, PVC/EPDM), Propylene Glycol (PP/316SS, EPDM), Sodium Bisulfate and Sodium Bisulfite (PVC/PP, EPDM), Sodium Thiosulfate (40%, PVC/EPDM), and Zinc Orthophosphate (PP/316SS, EPDM). Chemicals stored well under the 1.9 ceiling — Acetic Acid (60%), Aluminum Sulfate (50%), Calcium Chloride (40%), Ferrous Sulfate (20%), Magnesium Chloride (30%), Sodium Carbonate (30%), Urea Solution (50%), and Ozonated Water (up to 10 PPM) — are fully covered by this rating. Match every fitting and gasket to the chart, and see the full Chemical Compatibility Database before finalizing.
