Maximum operating temperature is 130 F / 54 C, with UV stabilizers compounded directly into the resin for outdoor service life.
This tank measures 50 inches tall with a 48-inch diameter, requiring 12.6 square feet of level ground. Empty weight is 80 pounds. At full capacity with a 1.0 SG liquid, expect approximately 1,956 pounds on the foundation. Set on a flat, level pad of compacted gravel or a concrete slab at least 4 inches thick. Place on a firm, level surface free of rocks or sharp objects that could damage the tank bottom. Ensure adequate ventilation if stored chemicals produce vapors.
This tank ships without pre-installed fittings, giving you full flexibility to position inlet and outlet connections exactly where your plumbing layout requires. Use polyethylene-compatible bulkhead fittings for all penetrations. The 20" lid opening provides ample access for interior inspection, cleaning, and installation of float switches, level sensors, or submersible pumps. We recommend schedule 80 PVC or polypropylene fittings on the NPT outlet with a ball valve for positive shutoff.
