A 62 inch circle does not fit between the wheel wells of any pickup; it sits on top of them or on a flatbed, so measure the bed width at the rails and the length with the tailgate closed before you order, and plan a frame or blocking that supports the flat floor across its full width rather than letting the tank bridge the wells. At 33 inches tall it stays below most rack and headache rail heights. A full tank of water is more than a ton and a quarter, which is most of the payload of a half ton pickup before the pump and the driver, so read the sticker on the door jamb. Strap over the body to the bed anchors, never over the lid, and face the outlet toward the tailgate. 1. Outlet. 2 inch. Norwesco's listing gives the size and not the fitting type, so if you are planning the valve and the hose before the tank arrives, call us and we will confirm the fitting against the drawing. A 2 inch outlet drains a tank this size at a useful rate for gravity or a pump.
2. Lid. 8 inch, on top: wide enough to fill from a hose or a hydrant nozzle and to drop a float or a suction line through. Confirm with us whether it is the vented type if the tank will be pumped out fast.
