The Norwesco 500 Gallon Plastic Containment Tray is a polyethylene basin that catches drips, overflow, and released contents before they reach the floor or ground. It measures about 92 inches long by 80 inches wide with a 19-inch wall height, and weighs 126 pounds empty. The black poly shell is FDA approved, rated to a specific gravity of 1.5 and a maximum service temperature of 120 F / 48 C.
How it sits
Set the tray on a flat, level pad so the full 19-inch wall height is available to hold a release. Check the base footprint of the equipment you plan to place inside against the tray's 80-inch width before ordering so it seats fully within the wall.
Material and exposure
Polyethylene will not corrode or rust the way a fabricated metal pan can, making the black basin well suited to indoor and equipment-room service. The tray carries a 16-inch lid.
