What it is for
A 2,000 gallon cone is a common size for a batch tank, a settling tank or a holding tank that has to be fully drained between uses: liquid fertilizer at a farm or retailer, wash and rinse water, treated water, and process liquids no heavier than 1.5 times water. The cone sends everything to the bottom outlet, so there is no ring of product left on a flat floor to pump or shovel out.
Choose black over white when the tank sits outside or under skylights. Light through a translucent wall grows algae in water and degrades some products; black stops it.
