The cone bottom drains by gravity, so batch chemicals and mixed fertilizer blends empty out instead of settling on a flat floor. The mistake to avoid

The fitting material matters as much as the tank. Notice that sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, the strong acids, and peracetic acid call for Viton, Aflas, or 316SS rather than the EPDM that works for the salts and glycols. Spec an EPDM gasket on a hypochlorite or sulfuric line and the gasket degrades long before the polyethylene does. Because this tank ships without wetted hardware, lock in the fitting, bulkhead, and gasket package to your chemical, concentration, and temperature against the compatibility data before the chemical ever reaches the tank.
