Small batches that drain clean

A cone bottom brings the whole batch to one low point, so the last of a mix leaves the tank instead of sitting in a flat corner. That matters most when batches change: a spray mix today, a different concentrate tomorrow, a rinse between them. At 30 gallons this is a bench or skid tank for test batches, day tanks beside a dosing pump, small spray rigs, and lab or pilot work.

The 1.9 rating means the wall handles liquids up to 1.9 times as heavy as water, so dense mixes like salt brines and concentrated fertilizer blends are inside its range, as long as polyethylene suits the liquid. What to check before you buy

1. A stand. A cone bottom tank cannot sit on the floor; it needs a stand that carries it by the cone and leaves room under the tip for a valve. No stand is listed with this part number. 2. The outlet. No outlet fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the valve size and whether a pump draws from it, and we will confirm with Snyder what comes on the tank.
3. The lid. The 20 inch threaded vented manway screws down and breathes. Keep the vent clear when a pump draws the batch down.
