A 330 gallon black vertical tank on the smallest floor in its family
The Snyder Industries 330 gallon ASTM black heavy duty vertical storage tank, part number 1011600N51, is a black polyethylene tank 44 inches in diameter and 58 inches tall, weighing 80 lb empty. Of the 330 gallon shells Snyder makes, this one asks the least of the room: the smallest diameter and the lightest empty weight, so it fits where the wider shells do not and a two-person crew moves it without equipment. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top is the fill and inspection opening, at reach-and-lean height. Snyder rates the wall for liquids up to 1.9 specific gravity, which covers water, fertilizers and many common chemicals; 330 gallons of water weighs 2,752 lb (330 x 8.34). The service limit is 120 F. It carries a 3 year warranty. Black keeps light out of the contents and hides the level, so plan a sender and a local gauge.

Where it goes
A well house or lift station with a door and not much else, a service building where the floor is already full, a dosing skid or trailer build that has to carry its own tank, a car wash makeup tank against a wall, and a room that will not take one big tank but will take two small ones on opposite walls. What goes in it
Dark storage for a liquid that polyethylene handles at room temperature: farm and nursery solution that has to stay out of the light, wash water, makeup, and reclaimed water on a site that wants nothing growing in it. Check any chemical in the chemical compatibility guide before you order.
Openings and fittings
- Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at the top of a 58 inch shell: a fixed step and a handhold do it, and the cover can be threaded home without anyone working off a ladder. An 18 inch opening on a 44 inch shell is a large fraction of the top, which makes cleaning easy and a careless lift dangerous; straps go under the body, never through the manway.
- Outlet. Name the liquid and the draw-off you want when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base and in what material before anything is cut. Anything plumbed there rides on its own support with a flexible connector to hard pipe.
