The 110 Gallon Full Drain Cone Bottom Inductor Tank from Norwesco (SKU N-44217) is a 110-gallon, 1.5 specific-gravity polyethylene cone bottom inductor built for batch chemical mixing and full-drain dosing where you need every gallon out of the bottom. The full cone geometry drains to the apex so concentrate and solids do not bridge or pocket, which makes it a natural fit for DEF make-down and urea dosing as well as general chemical batching. It stands 56 inches tall on a 30 x 30 inch footprint, and the white poly lets operators read level at a glance. This is a chemical-service cone tank, not a potable water vessel.

The tank carries a 1.5 specific-gravity rating, and that number sets the ceiling on what you can store. At a water-equivalent fill it holds roughly 917 pounds of contents, and it is rated to a maximum contents weight of 1,376 pounds at full 1.5 SG. The practical rule: any chemical up to 1.5 SG can fill the full 110 gallons, but anything denser has to be partial-filled so contents stay under 1,376 pounds. Match the chemical's specific gravity against that 1.5 rating before you commit a product to it. Chemical compatibility

This tank is polyethylene rated to 1.5 specific gravity. The resin is listed as HDLPE but flagged for confirmation, so before you order for any aggressive chemical service, confirm HDLPE versus XLPE with us at 866-418-1777 - crosslinked and linear poly differ in resistance for some chemistries, and this should be settled before chemical commitment. At the 1.5 SG rating, with appropriately specified fittings and EPDM gaskets, it suits: Acetic Acid at 60% (PP/PVC fittings), Aluminum Sulfate at 50% (PVC fittings), Calcium Chloride at 40% (PVC fittings), DEF at 32.5% (316SS fittings), Ferrous Sulfate at 20% (PVC fittings), Magnesium Chloride at 30% (PVC fittings), Sodium Carbonate at 30% (PVC fittings), Urea Solution at 50% (PP/PVC fittings), and Ozonated Water up to 10 PPM (PVC fittings). Chemicals that need a higher-SG tank

Several common chemistries exceed this tank's 1.5 rating and require a 1.9 specific-gravity inductor instead, so do not store them here: Ethylene Glycol, Ferric Chloride, Ferric Sulfate, Hydrochloric Acid, Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrofluosilicic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Peracetic Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Polyaluminum Chloride, Potassium Carbonate, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Bisulfate, Sodium Bisulfite, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Thiosulfate, Sulfuric Acid, and Zinc Orthophosphate. Note the gasket split: the 1.5-SG chemistries above run EPDM, but several of these aggressive acids demand Viton or Aflas - hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, hydrogen peroxide, phosphoric, sodium hypochlorite, and sulfuric acid on Viton, and peracetic acid on Aflas - so do not reuse an EPDM kit on them. The single most expensive mistake on an inductor tank is underspecifying SG: a 1.5-rated wall fatigues fast under a 1.9-density load.
