Where a low, wide cone fits
This is a batching and holding tank for a room with a low ceiling or a loader who should not be lifting over their head: a feed solution made up and metered out, a treatment chemical held and drawn from the bottom, a working quantity of fertilizer mixed and dispensed. Because the stand comes with it, there is no cone angle to match and no second part number to get wrong; it arrives as one piece of equipment ready to set down and level. The shallow cone drains from a point rather than a flat bottom, so sediment and the last of the product leave through the valve. It is not the shape for dissolving powders or holding a heavy suspension; those want the steep inductor cones. What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer and the common farm and treatment chemicals are the normal loads. Openings, fittings and what to check before you buy
- Outlet. A 2 inch outlet at the point of the cone. Tell us the valve or adapter you are fitting and we will confirm how it connects before the order ships. Fit the valve before the first fill and support the valve and the first length of pipe on their own.
- Lid. An 8 inch opening on top. Enough for a fill hose, a float or a look inside, not for a bag of product or an arm. Fill from a hose or a pump.
- Footprint. Forty-eight inches across. The stand needs a flat, level, continuous floor under all of it, with no drain, joint or slope beneath. Check it with a level across both diagonals before the first fill.
