Where a 150 gallon vertical goes
This is the size for a household on hauled or well water that wants a few days in reserve, a workshop or wash bay that needs a buffer ahead of a pump, a greenhouse or market garden holding rain for the beds, or a stock pen a long way from the hydrant. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the wall. A 2 inch valve, camlock or hose adapter threads straight in, and a 2 inch drain empties the tank quickly. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries water, not hardware.
- Inlet. A 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting for the fill line or the overflow. Run an overflow to daylight away from the base.
