A week of supply on one pad

At this size the tank is infrastructure. The buyer has counted a week's consumption and decided to hold it in one place: a livestock yard watering several hundred head, a grower feeding a block through the dry months, a remote camp or service yard where water arrives by tanker on a schedule, a plant holding process or wash water between shifts, a rural property building a real fire reserve. One vessel instead of four means one pad, one draw-off, one level to read and one connection to protect from freezing. Everything else about this tank follows from 91,740 lb standing on a 144 inch circle. That is a foundation, not a pad: flat, level and continuous under the entire floor, built well out past the rim, drained so nothing can undermine an edge, and designed by someone who has measured the bearing capacity of your ground rather than assumed it. At 167 inches the crown is nearly fourteen feet up, so the manway is a fixed ladder and platform job and the site needs overhead clearance for the delivery as well as the tank. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the wall. With fourteen feet of water above it, the outlet valve and the first length of pipe need their own support and a flexible connector; the fitting carries water, not hardware or pipe strain.
2. Inlet. None installed at the factory. The fill line usually enters through the manway or through a bulkhead fitted on site; tell us the pipe size and we will put the fitting on the same order.
3. Manway. A 22 inch threaded vented manway on top, large enough for cleaning access and a float or level sensor. The vent lets the tank breathe as the level moves; never seal it.

The tank ships as oversize freight from Norwesco's Albertville, Alabama plant on a dedicated trailer, 144 by 144 by 167 inches; Norwesco quotes the shipping weight at 1628 lb, lighter than the empty weight above, so plan the lift on the heavier figure. This is a crane or large telehandler unload with slings under the tank, never a chain round the manway. Check the part number against 44013 on the bill of lading, walk the whole shell for transit damage before signing, and fill it with water the first time.
