The 5050000N52 is Enduraplas's 2000-gallon vertical liquid storage tank, molded from high-density linear polyethylene (HDLPE) with an opaque resin wall that blocks light and slows algae growth on stored water. It stands 88 inches tall on a 90 by 90 inch footprint, so plan your pad and overhead clearance around those numbers before the truck arrives. Filled to capacity with water it carries 16,680 pounds, and that figure — not the empty shipping weight — is what drives your foundation, tie-down, and site-access decisions.

Will it work for your site?

This is a general-purpose vertical storage tank sized for bulk water: rainwater harvesting, well and pressure-system buffering, irrigation supply, non-potable water holding, and rural fire reserve. At 2000 gallons it is a common capacity for a private fire-water reservoir, and the NFPA 22 sizing discipline behind that use is worth reading before you commit to a number. Confirm the roughly 90-inch overall width and 88-inch height against your doorway, gate, and pad dimensions. One thing to watch: 2000-gallon tanks come in very different shapes — some vendors' buyer's guides show the same capacity as a 90 x 84 or a tall, narrow 64 x 152 build — so compare this squarer 90 x 88 footprint against those before you assume they interchange on your pad. If you are still settling on capacity, run your draw-down and refill math through the sizing tools rather than guessing.

Foundation and setup

A vertical poly tank of this size needs a flat, fully supporting base — a level concrete pad or compacted, ring-supported gravel that carries the entire footprint. The 16,680-pound full-water weight means partial or point support will flex the wall over time. Confirm the fitting and outlet locations before ordering so you can position the tank with the outlet where your plumbing needs it, and set any inlet, overflow, and vent connections before the tank is full. Venting is the mistake to avoid on a tank this size: an undersized or blocked vent can pull a poly tank inward during fast draw-down, and the API 2000 worked examples cover how to size vents on 1500-to-10000-gallon verticals.

Freight

This tank ships LTL freight on a pallet or skid, quoted live to your delivery ZIP — get your number from the Freight Cost Estimator or call 866-418-1777. Size it right the first time with the Tank Sizing Calculator and Tank Sizing Guide, and if this is going into a rural fire-protection role, read our fire-water reservoir design guide before you order.
