The Norwesco 85 gallon inductor tank and stand combo, part number 40353, is a natural white polyethylene cone bottom mixing tank sold together with the stand that holds it. The tank is 30 inches in diameter; tank and stand together stand 62 inches tall and weigh 64 lb. A cone bottom tank cannot sit on a floor on its own, and on every other tank in this family the stand is a separate purchase with a part number you have to match. Why buy the combo
Because the stand is the part people get wrong. A cone tank needs a cradle cut to its own cone angle and its own diameter, and a stand bought by eye from another tank sits the cone on a ring it was never meant to bear. Buying the pair as one part number removes that mistake and the second freight bill with it. The duty is the same as any 85 gallon inductor tank: a concentrate cut to working strength, a soluble product taken into solution, a treatment or feed chemical made up at the start of a shift and drawn down through the day, with the cone carrying the last of the batch to the outlet. What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer and the common farm and treatment chemicals are the normal loads. Openings, fittings and what to check before you buy
- Outlet. A 2 inch threaded outlet at the point of the cone. Tell us the valve or adapter you are fitting and we will confirm the thread before the order ships. Fit the valve before the first fill and support the valve and hose on their own.

- Overall height. Sixty-two inches with the tank in its stand. Measure the doorway it goes through and the clearance under the outlet for the valve, the hose or the container you will draw into.
- The floor. A flat, level, continuous surface under the whole stand. Set it, check it with a level across both diagonals, then fill.
