The 1.9 SG rating is the headline number: it tells you the tank is rated to carry contents up to 1.9 times the density of water, which is why it suits dense fertilizer blends and chemical solutions rather than just clear water. At 1.9 SG this is already the densest-rated poly option for these contents, so there is no higher-density tank to step up to.

The mistake to avoid

The common error on a horizontal leg tank like this is matching the gasket to the fitting instead of to the chemical. Note where the chart calls for Viton or Aflas instead of EPDM: aggressive acids and oxidizers such as hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, phosphoric, sulfuric, hydrogen peroxide, and sodium hypochlorite need Viton, and peracetic acid needs Aflas. Watch the fitting material too: sulfuric acid at 98% requires CPVC fittings, not standard PVC; DEF calls for 316SS; and peracetic acid, propylene glycol, and zinc orthophosphate call for PP or 316SS rather than PVC. Putting the wrong elastomer or the wrong fitting body at the outlet is what causes a leak, not the tank wall. And because the resin grade is flagged for confirmation, settle that question with us before you load anything more aggressive than water.
