The Enduraplas 2520 Gallon White Cone Bottom Tank with Stand (SKU THC02520KW) is a full-drainage vessel built for chemical batching, mixing, and dosing where you need every gallon to gravity-feed out the bottom. It arrives on its integrated stand at a 110-inch diameter footprint and 108 inches tall, molded in natural white polyethylene with a 1.9 specific gravity rating so the tank wall is engineered to hold dense chemistry, not just water. The empty tank weighs 500 lb, drains through a 3-inch PP female NPT bulkhead fitting, and fills through a 16-inch threaded vented manway up top. It is FDA approved.

Will it work for your process?

Match the load to the wall rating first. Filled with plain water this tank carries about 21,017 lb; at its full 1.9 SG rating it is built to hold up to 39,932 lb of contents. That spread is the whole point of a cone bottom on a stand - you get complete drain-down for solids-bearing or settling chemistry, plus the headroom to run a heavy liquid without over-stressing the wall. Confirm your chemical's specific gravity stays at or under 1.9 before ordering, and confirm it at your actual service temperature: a maximum operating temperature is not specified for this SKU, and both the 1.9 SG wall rating and the resistance envelope below derate with heat. Use the Tank Sizing Calculator and Tank Sizing Guide to right-size against your batch volume, and see the technical drawing on this page for the manway, cone, and outlet geometry. Searching by 2520 gallon, cone bottom, or Enduraplas white will bring you back to this exact configuration.

Chemical compatibility

This is an HDLPE polyethylene tank rated to 1.9 specific gravity, but the resin designation still carries a "?" - confirm HDLPE versus XLPE with us before you commit it to chemical service, because the two resins do not share the same chemical resistance envelope. Compatibility below is drawn from the Snyder Industries OEM chemical resistance chart and is concentration- and temperature-specific; verify your exact chemical, concentration, temperature, and the fitting and gasket materials before service. At this tank's 1.9 SG rating, the following are workable when built with the noted fitting and gasket:

For fluid-handling and freeze/deicing chemistry, DEF (32.5%) and Urea Solution (50%) are compatible and run happily against the tank's stock PP outlet - but any downstream metal must be 316-series stainless, never carbon or 304. Lower-SG chemistry runs here too, since a 1.9-rated wall covers anything requiring less: Acetic Acid (60%, PP/PVC, EPDM), Aluminum Sulfate (50%, PVC, EPDM), Calcium Chloride (40%, PVC, EPDM), Ferrous Sulfate (20%, PVC, EPDM), Magnesium Chloride (30%, PVC, EPDM), Sodium Carbonate (30%, PVC, EPDM), and ozonated water (up to 10 PPM, PVC, EPDM). The single biggest mistake to avoid is a gasket and fitting mismatch: the stock 3-inch PP bulkhead and manway ship as water-service EPDM/PP, but several of the acids above demand Viton gaskets with CPVC or 316SS hardware. For any Viton- or CPVC-required chemical, request the upgraded fitting package by phone before ordering, and always cross-check against the Chemical Compatibility Database, which is concentration- and temperature-specific.

Freight

This tank ships LTL, freight-quoted live to your ZIP from the nearest named plant - Neche, ND. Because it moves as an oversized poly vessel on a stand, get a firm number before you buy with the Freight Cost Estimator, or call us at 866-418-1777 and we will confirm the resin, fitting package, and delivery to your dock. For help pairing the cone body with the right stand, see our stand selection decision tree and the Norwesco, Snyder, and Enduraplas stand compatibility matrix.
