On a trailer or on the ground

This is a nurse tank size. At 145 by 97 inches it takes a full width trailer deck, and at 75 inches tall plus the deck it clears most yard doors and few barn doors, so measure both before you order. The weight is the decision: a full load of water is close to twelve tons and a full load of 1.9 liquid is over twenty-two, so the trailer, its axles and the tow vehicle are the limit long before the tank is. Strap or chain through the moulded leg recesses, never over the top of the shell, and use the bands Enduraplas makes for the tank where it rides on the road. On the ground it needs a flat, continuous surface under every leg; a leg tank on ground that falls away sits on three legs instead of all of them. What goes in it

Liquid fertilizer is the usual load, and the 1.9 rating is why: the heavy blends that overload a water rated leg tank are inside this one's rating. Water, brine and the common farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles are the rest. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the sump, the lowest point of the tank. Your valve or camlock threads straight into it. A 3 inch outlet empties a tank this size in a reasonable time; support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Top opening. The fill opening on top is not listed here; tell us how you fill, from a truck, a pump or a hose, and we will confirm the lid size before the order ships.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 300, 145 by 97 by 75 inches and 1166 lb, from Enduraplas's plant in Neche, North Dakota. It is a flatbed load, not a liftgate one; the receiving end needs a loader or a forklift with long forks, or the trailer it will live on backed up alongside.
