The mistake to avoid

The common error on a horizontal leg tank is matching fittings and gaskets to the tank instead of to the chemical. For a DEF hauler, the listing is clear, DEF 32.5% is compatible when plumbed in 316 stainless steel with EPDM, not in plain PVC. Running EPDM on sulfuric or hydrochloric acid, or a standard PVC fitting where 316SS is called out for DEF or peracetic acid, is how a tank that is technically compatible still fails at the connection.
